Jaffa (or Yafo) is one of the most ancient port cities in the world.
Jaffa (Hebrew: יָפוֹ, Yafo Arabic: يَافَا Yāfā ; also Japho, Joppa, and, in the Amarna Letters, Yapu) is an ancient port city located south of Tel Aviv, Israel on the Mediterranean Sea. Today it is a borough of the city.
